Elsewhere for 8 Minutes
Elsewhere for 8 Minutes is the debut album by Australian band Something for Kate. It was released in 1997 on Murmur. The name is a reference to the time it takes light travelling from the sun to reach planet earth. There were 4 singles taken from this album, "Captain" "Prick" "Working Against Me" and "Roll Credit". This album also contains the long-time crowd favourite "Pinstripe". Julian Carrol had decided to leave the band before this album was recorded; however, he agreed to record this as a final achievement. He left he band shortly after its completion.
